Things to do around the campsite

An original and unusual activity, but a must: Gold digging. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, the tourist office leader of Sancy-Artense will show the secrets of gold minerals digging in the Burande, a river along the campsite.

Canoeing is the best way to explore the fabulous gorges of Dordogne between Corrèze and Puy-de-Dôme on the Bort-les-Orgues lake : departure from the Pont d’Arpiat, 2 km from the Moulin de Serre campsite.

It is allowed to swim in the river and in the lake; there are several bathing sites between Singles and Bort, the water sport centre near Château de Val is one of them, featuring an adventure park, giant inflatable structures in the water and motorboat rental.
